Chrome or Alloy ahhhh

I have been debating back and forth between the 17'' monoblock Chrome and Alloy
I love the way both look, I think chrome will make my car stand out more, and make people look and say 'wow, nice car', but when I get older (college etc..) I think I will eventually outgrow the chromed look. Plus i live in NY, where winter would prolly cause problems.

Although, Alloy is just so much more classy, and i think makes the car look "more mature" .. anyways

I need help !! lol, any comments are useful! Thanks

I'm in the same boat, I can't decide on wheels either, I finally decided on 16" instead of 17", now, I can't decide on Mila Millia Bellos or ASA Type 8 (8 Hole) Sports. Then I have to decide on alloy or chrome. Hard choice, probably go alloy on a white car.

Why not go for polished?
Cleaner looking and brighter than regular alloy but not as flashy as chrome.

Out of curiosity

Out of curiosity, why did you choose 16"s insteal of 17"s? I was thing about upgrading from stock and was originally thinking about 16"s, but I'm now trying to decide on 16"s, 17"s, or CLK's wheels.

I'm having a hard time visualizing whehter 17"s will fill the wheel well too much.

I'd go for normal alloys.
they give a clean look, they let the car look mature, it's classy indeed, and it's much more understatement.
That's just my opinion.

best regards,

matteus
