Question about lowering my 300e / Tinting

To tell you the truth, I have no knowledge of any kind of lowering, and I just wanted to know some of the pros and cons. I personally think it would look 10x better (i will post pics soon) lowered. I would like to maybe lower it about 1.5inches than what it is now. What would this effect? and do you recommend it? Thanks

* Oh by the way. I'm also bringing my car in for a tinting job in about a week. I was thinking of getting 20%, but im not sure how that would look. If anyone has any pictures of some tinting jobs that would be great and what percentage to get it done. Thanks.

SUSPENSION:
upgrading your suspension (springs and shocks) can do two things:

1) lower ride height
2) stiffen ride quality

All i gotta say is that i will never be able to drive a 300E with stock suspension ever again.

I am using H&R Sport Springs which can lower 1.5/1.3 (front/rear). 1.3/1.3 is also available.

I checked your year with H&Rs applications and it was not available, but being that it is a w124, the springs might still fit, just make sure you call them before making an order.

eibach does make springs for your car which lower it 1.2/1.2, but ive never had a good experience with their product(thats just my opinion, ask others who use it)

TINT:
I tried looking for New Yorks tint laws, but some of the sites that had them posted were confusing. 20% is illegal in most states.

PIC:
heres the pic i always use for displaying tint and suspension(yes i need to take more, lol)

H&R Sport Springs 1.5/1.3
20% Tint

And another.. i really hate this pic, but it does the topic justice.

Eibachs are not as stiff as the HR springs. But i like how the HR drops the car. Of course all cars drop differently. Unfortunatly after i installed my eibachs i didn't notice very much of a difference. I even put in number 1 pads. But ride quality is alrite.

Only bad thing you might get from lowering your car is rubbing. If you choose to upgrade to bigger wheels, you might rub.

another one with 20% all around. Personally, I think it looks better with the darker cars rather than the whites, light blues, golds, etc,. And as you can see, I am also in desperate need of a drop and some 17s (not to mention Euros and clear corners [:(!]).... enough of this forum, time to find a damn job
