The over head dome light in the front seat of my 1991 300E has blown out.. I have NO CLUE how to change this bulb, I cant find a release clip anywhere.. Pretty pathetic when i can rebuild an engine but i cant Change a light bulb!!! AHHH someone help!

on the UK models (they have seat belt warning indicator in the) you have to drop the whole unit to get at the bulb.
very carefully prise it away from the roof lining using a flat blade - a blunt knife is better than a screwdriver as there is less chance of damaging the roof lining. Once it's out you can unclip the rehelctors from the rear of the unit and change the bulbs.
