Phone removal

That funky/clunky phone has got to go. I wanna just nip the wires and and loose the phone, however my better judgment tells me to ask first. With my luck it will affect my transmission shift patter because of the MB infatuation with bizzaro electrical wiring.LOL

So, how do I safely make it go bye-bye?

Thanks

Nope. The phone is on the passanger side bolted on the center consul to the right of the driver. The phone is a full size, "old school", NEC handset.

Perhaps I'll snap a pic later tonight and upload it. I should have it online by tomorrow.

Thanks in advance.

Snipping is scary. I'll look for a plug or something like that. I was just worried about the radio taking a dive afterwards.

Is yours even connected with the radio? Alot of those older handsfree kits just had speakers placed somewhere unobtrusive..
