I recently acquired a 1995 E320 Touring wagon and was wondering what grade of oil I should run. I was considering 15w-50 Mobil 1 Syn. since it's what I have the most of. I've searched several forums and really haven't found any good info. I am located in S. Carolina.

You say you've searched already forums for suggestions on which oil to use for your vehicle? Can I assume you're read through the hundreds of opinions people have on which oil to use and when to use it?
I don't think you'll find any conclusive advice on which oil is best for your application. As long as you're within the recommendations that MB gives for its vehicles you should be okay. I think 15W50 synthetic is within the published guidelines and should be okay for your vehicle.
