Hi, another problem I'm having is that when I stick my key in the lock on my driver door, sometimes it won’t turn to the right at all. I try to turn it (and with some pressure too) and it just won’t budge...BUT IT'S THE RIGHT KEY!!! The key works just fine when unlocking the driver door, and locks and unlocks the passenger door. What can I do to fix my driver door lock? Does it need some kind of cleaning or do I have to just replace it? Also, is this really expensive to do at the shop? I really hate how I have to walk over to the passenger side every time to lock the car! [xx(]
Also, do they make one of those aftermarket remote unlocking things for an 87 300E? I really think those are cool, but I have no clue what it would cost to get one put in. Has anybody had this done to their car that didn’t already have on installed?

its badass cause the dude wired it to my vacuum pump and it locks/unlocks remotely like a new vehicle.
over $500 cause it has a pager doohicky that tells me up to two miles away who's messing around with my dvd touch screen. cabin temperature, remote start, the works
maybe the tumbler thing in your lock is bad, replace the lock assembly from the dealer, you can install it yourself if you want
