Light clicking sound - Benzworld.org

I am getting a light clicking(Metal clicking) sound from drivers rear wheels. Whenever I go over light bump, it sounds like a metal to metal clicking sound. Any help would really appreciate it. I have 91 300E 4Matic.<br> Thanks.

When you depress the hand-brake pedal either lightly or fully, does the clicking disappear? If so I know the cure for I got rid of the clicking just a few hours today.

a few hours ago I meant to say. Also you can check for the sound when you kick the wheel. Don't hesitate to kick hard. The whole repair procedure takes about 20 mins and is easily done provided yours is the cause for cklicking I had.

It was a parking brake actuator that was clinking inside the wheel. I adjusted it and it is gone!! Thanks for the tip!!

Yes, that was it. It was a real nuisance and took me a year before I could get a round to it but then it took only a few mins to fix it.
