I've decided to replace the alloys on my 300e-24 Sportline (it currently has the stock 15'' wheels).
Has anyone with the Sportline package got experience with fitting different size alloys? What are the pros/cons?
I recommend 16-inch wheels from a late model C-class (W202 or W203). They fit perfectly with no rubbing. A warning, though, wide (8.0-inch) wheels are almost guaranteed to rub, even with the correct offset. You'll need to roll the fender lips in that case. Wider (8.5+) is possible but significant fender mods are *required*.
