Advice please...

Hi,
I've recently bought a '94 E200 and I'm wanting to put some 17's on it. I'm also considering putting some lowering springs on it in the hope that it reduces the gap between the tyres and wheelarches. I'm told this affects the steering geometry and am concerned about that. Is it something that needs correcting? What springs would you recommend and is it likely to make any difference to handling? (there seems to be a lot of body roll after my 190E. is there anything else i need to consider?

Any advice appreciated...

Thanks, Mike.
