Mine does the same sometimes. I have cleaned the contacts that the bulb fits into and as they are just springy bits of metal I bent them in a bit to get a better contact with the bulb. The bulb on one side was also corroded slightly so I cleaned it with WD40 and all seems OK now.<br> <br> I think the location of the bulbs on a moving boot lid doesn't help and the seals around the bulb glass covers are poor.<br> <br> Good luck<br> <br> Andy
The warning light system on the dash is really sensitive. If one licence plate bulb is out the dash light will come on. Just fix the d#*%@* thing.<br> Makes you wonder if all cars had a similar system, would there be so many burned out dim wits on the road. Stupid question...of course there would.
Correction:check the wires that connect the lights in the hood with the body. They run on the left side of the hood. Sometimes the wires are broken!<br>
