I am looking to remove the wood panels that line my dash and doors. What is the easiest way to take these out without causing any damage? I managed to remove one piece, the one on the far left side of the dash, just above the light switch, and noticed that there are nuts that hold these pieces on, how can I take them off? Also, I want to remove my instrument cluster in order to line the inside with vinyl and to install my new Face Gauges. What is the easiest way to take this off?
Thanks in advance...
The wood strips from the dash are attached with nuts, just like the one piece you already removed. If you can't access the back side, which I highly doubt you can, you must remove the entire dash to remove the wood pieces. Yank the instrument cluster first (it pulls out) and the glove box, and see if you can reach the little nuts that hold the wood pieces on. I think the doors are similar, you need to yank the door panel off first, and unscrew the nuts on the back side.

HTH,

Dave M. :)
