I lowered my 300D with Weitec Springs and Koni Shocks/Struts. The drop looks great. I still get swaying at high speed turns. What are my options as far as Sway bars ar concerned, either front or rear?
Thanks in advance...
You have 2 options that I know of:

1- Get the factory Sportline bars, which will cost about $225 from Rusty (800-741-5252). The front bar tapers at the ends, but less than stock. I think the front is 27.5mm (1mm more than stock, but with thicker ends) and the rear is 17mm (2mm more than stock.)

2- Eibach makes a set which is 28mm for the front, and 17mm for the rear. However, I have been told that the Eibach bar is 28mm end-to-end, and does not taper at all. I haven't personally seen one to confirm this. Unfortunately, this set retails for ~$600, and the cheapest I've heard of one selling for is ~$400 after haggling with the Tire Rack.

-HTH,

Dave M.
1987 300D - 228kmi (Carat springs, Sportline swaybars)
1987 300D - 232kmi (Neuspeed springs, Sportline swaybars)

Whether you replace the existing bar or not, you should look at replacing the bar bushings as a minimum. The difference in just this $50.00 fix is noticeable. This took the high speed weave out and improved the driveability.
A simple test is to get someone to rock the car back and forth (either pushing above the door or use a lever to lift on a jacking point) and crawl under the front and feel the play in the body mount bushings and the lower A arm mounts.
It di not noticeably reduce roll on cornering but within the bounds of good sense, our 300TE is pretty good to start with.
