Amir and Chris,

The headlights fit right in mechanically if taken from the same year W124 500 (not S-class Amir) as the car you're putting them on. Wiring also has to be changed as the inner lights are driving lights instead of fog lights on the 500 (fog ligts are in the spoiler). Note that you need to change the reflector assy as well to get the right light pattern, not just the glass lens. All this applies to Euro spec cars, I don't know the situation on US cars. Of course the Euro lights are illegal to run in the US...

Tomas
Always admired the CE look and it appears to be an affortable alternative to a newer E class. I saw a posting somewhere else complaining about expensive repair and troubles with many engine/tranny gaskets, etc. Can some of you comment on your repair experiences? Also how much HP does the straight 6 produce (US spec)

Thanks,
Vince
I HAVE A 94' E500 AND THE HEADLIGHTS ARE DIFFERNT FROM THE 94' E320 BY: THE LENSE WHICH MOUNTS TO THE HOUSEING IS CHROME...THEY COST AROUND $500 A PEICE.....
Sander,

I also have a 1990 300CE, I use michelin tyre with size 225/45/70. Do you experience a lot of noise coming from your tire/wheel into the cabin while you are driving? I am suspecting my tires are not a good tyre.

Jusuf
