400 e springs and shock set up.

Top of the afternoon gents!
Hope all of you had a great Christmas, and also that
you have a safe New Year. I have a 400e '92. Since I am upgrading my rims and tires i figured that i would upgrade the suspension as well. my question to all is what is the best set up people have had? I am currently sold on the Eibach pro kit and Bilstien sport
shocks. I need to know if the sport shocks from Bilstien are the best to go with or are there others i should consider. Any information is greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone has things that i should do while i do this upgrade, please SAY SOMETHING!! I want to be sure that this benz can last me another 10 years or 100k.
Happy New Year!
Enjoy the boozenog while its still there and not all on the floor.
Anthony

One other shock/strut to consider is KONI adjustables. I like them because they are externally adjustable and they are slightly more performance oriented than the Bilsteins. I had KONI's on my 300E with H&R springs and the package worked well.
If you are looking for other upgrades, I'd highly recommend upgrading your swaybars with either factory Sportline bars or the Eibach kit. The only other improvement I know of is to replace your stock lower control arm bushings with the stiffer Sportline bushings- I did this in my car as well. The labor for bushing replacement isn't cheap though.
I also recommend investigating brake upgrades- I like being able to stop fast. Porterfield pads are a great starting point (not cheap - $125/set) bigger rotors etc are the way to go but the limiting factor is money. There are some killer brake upgrade packages out there but they can cost up to ~$3000! Re: 400 e springs and shock set up.

That's the set up I have on my 92 400E. Bilstien Sport/Eibach Pro Kit, with 17" AMG rims and Michelin Pilots. Very stiff with exciting conering/handling characteristics. Stiffer than I prefer, but I only drive this one for fun on nice days.
Bekker Imports indicated from their customer feedback, the Koni's are a little less stiff than the Bilstien setup, but also get "soft" quicker than the Bilstiens.
Ultimately I will replace the sway bars and brakes. I too, would like to know if there are other modifications recommended for this set up.
Where can you find sway bars for the 92 400E?
Hope this helps.
Thank you,
Brian W.
