rear suspension improvement

If your 124 is 9 years old or older, your rear upper strut links are history. When you look at a picture of the multi link suspension, the link to replace is the upper left one. It bears the brunt of force when you turn a corner. The original arm has been upgraded by MB to a much more heavy duty part that doesn't flex. The bolt that holds it in place has also been upgraded to a hardened bolt with allen head so it can be tightened correctly. To test: with car on a lift, rear wheel off, lock a Vise Grip onto the arm vertically. With your index and second finger try to move the wrench from side to side. If it moves, replace these control arms! You will feel the difference. P.
