I have had a 1986 300e for 3 years--now has 165,000 mi/it has been a great car.....routine maintenance and replacement of parts is always more expensive than an american car but people think it looks only 3 years old. The biggest complaint is alwasy with the climate control system--switches stop working..fan always runs....but this car really is a jewel. Just put the new Michelins on and it moves like silk.
