It all depends where you want to start. If you want to lessen body roll, best way is to go with Bilstein Shocks and H&R Sport Springs. The new AMG cars use Bilsteins BTW !! This will lower your car a bit and remove that ugly gap between the tire and fender.
Next you could do Peter Kleins suggestion on a post below and buy the parts from Rusty !! He really gives good prices !!
Tell me what your ultimate goal is and I'll try to help you out.
Frank
: hi
my 95 E320 is close to 65k miles, have been thinking about upgrading the suspension set up. Any suggestions? I've asked the dealer regarding retrofitting a sportline package, just wondering about other possibilities. Everything is stock. thanks
norman

I added Bilstein performance shocks and the sportline swaybars. I stayed with the stock springs. I am very happy with the cornering improvement while giving up very little in the way of ride comfort.
If you are interested, contact me and I will look up the MB part numbers for the Sportline sway bars. They're not very expensive, this is a cost effective way to improve the handling of your 124 body car.
Good luck,
Larry

The best, most noticeable upgrade you can make to your car is the replacing of your front and rear sway bars with those from the "Sport" option package. The lowest price would be from Rusty at Wholesale Parts: 800-741-5252. Part numbers:front sway bar 124-323-68-65, bushings outer 124-323-51-85, inner 124-323-45-85, rear sway bar 124-326-19-65, bushings 124-326-01-81, subframe mounts 129-351-14-42. PK
I will contact Rusty for the sway bars and shocks. By the way, what type of Bilsteins? HD or sport? Also, that "ugly gap" at the front fenders, I dont like it either, but I have driven cars with H&R springs and they seem too harsh for me. Any other springs out there? I have a BMW with Dinan springs( linear springs), it has very little drop, great handling, but retain the stock feel. I'm assuming everyone is staying with stock size wheel and tire? Will 205/65/15 fit the stock rim? Thanks
norman
: It all depends where you want to start. If you want to lessen body roll, best way is to go with Bilstein Shocks and H&R Sport Springs.
