The have the sills on eBay. They run $75usd. They have the ones the say "Mercedes Benz", "brabus" "AMG". They also have some that illuminate where the lettering is.

Hey Ksing,
You think you could pop those bad bodys off and get the part number for all four? I have a feeling that MB is about to get a small flood of demand for 95 320E SE door sills.

I called my dealer and they could not find the part listed in the book. Now they are searching for the part using my VIN number. I will let you know when they get back to me. If they can't find it, I may pop it off to see if there is a part number on the back. If the dealer can't find it, however, the part number may not do you any good.
Post2Benz was right. My friend, 190Eboy, found quite a few on ebay. One set looked just like mine and the description makes it sound like they are OEM. They are only $76.00 and there are 4.5 hours left for bids. The link below should take you to the bidding.
I asked the seller and they responded that they are not OEM. The concern for me is how strong the SS is. I would not want it to bend or dent over time.
My dealer responded that they have no record of the stainless steel door sills as a special part for the Special Edition, but Mercedes does sell stainless door sills that illuminate. I was quite certain that my door sills were OEM, but maybe they are not. They look great, but they really aren’t very thick and they just kind of snap/stick right over the plastic ones. A small bit of the plastic sticks out at the ends, but it doesn’t look bad. You can see it in the photo of the driver seat in my car on the first page of this post. The ones on ebay look identical to the ones I have in my car. I wonder if mine are really an OEM item made for the Special Edition. I may have to pop one off to see if it has a Mercedes part number.
The stamped, chromed threshold covers sold on E-Bay
are from Singapore not Mercedes dealers in the U.S. The door sill plate I describe is four times thicker stainless which is satin-brushed and has your choice of letters and numbers ENGRAVED by a CNC machine. They can never dent or ding. They cannot be formed by a stmper because the high quality stainless is too hard and too thick. P.
