My 400e is a write off :-(

Unfortunately my 400E is going to be a write off. It only has very minor damage headlight & a bump on the fender.
Deciding if im going to buy it back or not. There is nothing wrong with the car. I might just have to part it out or sell it whole.. Need your help guys.

Work done on the car:
wiring harness has been replaced upper & lower
new radiator, hoses etc.
New belt tensioner/shock/belt
new a/c compressor
new vacuum pods. evaporator
eibach springs
adjustable rear camber arms
16" mercedes evo sl wheels
stainless brake lines
chrome trims on the speedometer
1st gear start
remote central locking
rear back up sensors
mint interior black with burlwood trim
silver exterior
there should be more stuff done that i don't remember at the moment

I'll post pics soon..

If that's called "written off", what do they call this? Because two different panel beaters told me that this is "repairable".

Probably because I didn't crack any lights...

A door and fender and paint and you're good.

Find a fender from a pick & pull with original paint in the same color (about $35 local to me) and it will be like the damage was never there. They only difference will be the little VIN sticker hidden by the door hinges, but only you'll know that.

Post some pictures of the damage for further analysis from the panel of experts.

The point is: Insurance are bastards!

I've taken my W123 off insurance simply because replacing her will cost me less than fighting them.
