Weird Behavior.. I give up..

1. Is the HVAC blower suppose to run softly/really low when starting vehicle? If not, whats going on?

2. Passenger headrest automatic up/down does not work. even manually moving it wont budge at all.
Drivers headrest auto retract goes up but not down. needs to be manually pushed down.

3. Check Lights Indicator always ON.
I've replaced my LH fog light bulb a few weeks ago and a couple days ago it already blew out.
Left tail light running light only the inner bulb lights up but all bulbs are new. Bulbs by the corner do not light up, but if I test the bulb on the other side, they work.
Cluster Tach/Clock light intermittent. Sometimes ON sometimes OFF.
HVAC left knob bulb out.
When depressing brakes all interior lights flicker. Center Dash/Door Switches/OHC Switches.

I've inspected and cleaned the ground wires by antenna, right tail light, under chassis ground by power steering gearbox, and the 3 ground spots by the front right shock tower.

I'm running out of ideas... My car is possessed...

1) The HVAC blower motor does not come on until the engine reaches about 60C on the dial. This feature is to prevent you from getting blasted in the head with ice cold air when the ambient temps are cold. In other words, it's a feature not a bug.

2) Vacuum Issue with going to rear headrest. Troubleshoot as needed, forcing things into place only ends up breaking things and more money. Front power headrest mechanism is broken. Usually happens when somebody who doesn't know anything about MBs tried to remove the headrest and as a result ruins the headrest mechanism.

3) Make sure you are running OSRAM/genuine MB bulbs of the correct type & wattage. Don't forget the high mount brake light. It is most often overlooked. Also replace ALL the fuses in the fusebox with the updated copper core type. This fixes a LOT of issues. Sounds like your car is due for a all-out bulb replacement. The dash and HVAC will require removal of the cluster and HVAC push button module.

I guess I may have to take the seats apart and repair the damage.

All my bulbs are osram/genuine mb. And the 3rd brake light never gave me issues. It always lights up.

Now there's an idea! I do need to replace my fuses.. I noticed some of my fuses are bonded together with solder material...

I did not know this could cause abnormal issues. Ill do this tomorrow and see if things change.

Make sure you only use the updated copper core type.

joetlc has a fuse kit that covers the whole car for less than $5.

Check the link
Ceramic Fuse Kit Mercedes Benz Audi BMW Porsche VW - JoeTLC

If no change after that, it's probably electrical (relay, etc.)

TIP: Make sure the bulbholders make good contact with the bulbs. After 20 years, it wouldn't hurt to open up the rear tail light and pull back the prongs just a tad to ensure good contact with the bulbs.

1. I have a new blower motor and resistor. Just like Sbaert says, the blower will not come on until the Climate Control senses engine heat. Mine starts off slow and then progresses to higher speeds as the coolant temp increases, then drops back down after the interior reaches the desired setting.

3. My light was always on until I took apart both rear license plate lights and removed 20 years of corrosion from each end. Bent the springs tighter and then reinstalled same lights, no problems since. Replaced all fuses with copper last year.
