1986 300E CPS help

[300Easy]

New here been trying to locate this crank position sensor for a good 1.5 hr and I think I feel it which is under the oil filter. Anyone happen to have a .pdf file that can show me a detailed illustration if I'm even feeling the right thing, and hopefully I can navigate my way through this whole installation process.

It's just above the starter. Here's a shot of one sticking through the bore in a junk block I was throwing out.
