I picked up a set of Carlsson 1/6. They are staggered. Fronts are 18x8 with ET40 and the rears are 18x8.5 with ET35. They were used on a E320 coupe and the previous owner ran 225/40/18 up front and 235/40/18 at the rear. He said there were no rubbing. His car is lowered too and so is mine. So right now i'm thinking about going with the same tire sizes as he did. Any suggestions? Anyhow the wheels are in good shape. I really like the look. Here are some crappy pics of one of the front wheels.
sweet pick up 225-40-18 should be ok- how much did you lower the car?

Thanks oefvetw124lover. I would say roughly 1.2inch. I got H&R springs and left the spring pads stock so its not slammed. I compared it with my current wheels using wheel/tire calculator and 225/40/18 up front should do just fine. For the rear 235/40/18 is planned but since the rears are 8.5 with ET35 I'm worried it might rub. Not sure if I should go 255 or with 35 . It might be too much for my little straight six.
