| Need driver side window lift
I heard a loud pop last night when I raised the window. After which it wouldn't go up or down, but I could hear the motor running. After taking it apart today, I've found that the two small shear pins that keep the frame aligned with the toothed piece had let go. I tried to drill them out to no avail, so I guess I need to look for a replacement.
The lift mechanism and the motor are made by Borse. I couldn't find an MB part number, only "Borse A/C 124". My question is whether this component fits only coupes or sommon to all 124s. I think that the pins sheared off because some sort of limiter switch failed momentarily to shut of the motor when the window was fully raised.
Anyone have a parts car with a functioning one??
