These cars are custom ordered items, not production cars like the E55. Plus, some of these vehicles cost upwards of 150k when new, so not many were built.

All that work on a car with only 76K miles makes me wonder. Somebody put euro headlights on it and didnt bother to change the dash switch. Also they should have installed the headlight wipers or changed the filler plates below the headlights.
There is signs of corrosion on the horns, etc. and why were all the brake lines changed. Must have been in a salty environment near the Jersey shore or possibly a flood car.
I would like to see what it looked like before all that work. Price is high for a polished turd.
Yes, it did live by the shore for a large part of it's life.. the shop he used spent a good bit of time tending to lots of surface/light rust.
As for the lights etc, I believe this is how it left the Westmont facility so I suppose you could ring up Hartmut @ RENNTech and ask him why they didn't do it as you described ;-)
Price is a Deal for that car IMHO..this is the only 6L SOHC version of the wagon that I know of, the other is a twin cam and that's been 'missing' ever since Mr. Feingold's estate was broken up :-/

I believe this is the VIN for Feingold's car: WDBEB93D7HF036603.
Canadian delivery as a 300TD and modded by Westmont.
Current owner is Aaron Ruskin in California.
He's the one who has been trying to sell the Hammer sedan on EBAY for many months.
He also has a Hammer coupe.
Dave Shimano's 300TE 6.0L SOHC is now reasonably priced.
