I agree, they are great cut and thrust cars.. The 600 is a highway stormer that makes cruising @ 120+ seem utterly reasonable.
My Biggest gripe w/ the 500E is the stock ASR/lack of a defeat switch and no LSD... Given what the car was made to do the ASR seems like a (poor) afterthought..
Now once you try a 6L version of the 500E you'll Really have a good time;-)

Its funny you mention that because it was a local german car until last year. When I hammered it (3-4 runs) the pavement was humid(not wet) & Charles put it in "sport" on the trans before I commenced...expecting good ol' ASR light to rear its ugly head but not once did it come on in "sport" mode. I wish I could say the same for mine.
I sure the Renntech or Brabus 6.0 versions should give more than their share of road superiority.
Some sub-par pics but you see how "Big-E" makes my 600 look like humvee-wide.
