W124 wiring harness

Everyone knows in the 93-95 w124 these need replaced.

The three main ones are
1. Engine wiring harness
2. Starter wiring harness
3. Throttle body wiring harness

I have found a good spot for the engine wiring harness
IE: $606.95 WIRING HARNESS 400 Series OEQ Engine Wiring Harness

Another, this one is $586
Mercedes 400E Engine Wiring Harness - OES Genuine - PartsGeek.com

****EDITED***

Does anyone have any OTHER places to buy -

Lower wiring harness (starter wiring harness) -

I found one for the 400e model part number is 1245403130 and here is a link to buy it about 20$ us cheaper than the dealer.400e Lower harness 91.84$ US

Anyone have any other spots cheaper ?

Throttle body wiring harness

(as suggested by Benzworld Member GDC
pull off and rewire DIY or buy new throttle actuator)

The throttle actuator harness is permanently attached to the throttle actuator. You will either have to rewire yours (not very difficult) or buy another throttle actuator.

I've taken care of my engine wiring harness and ETA wiring issue. This is the first I've heard of the starter wiring harness being an issue. Where could I get more info on this?

Its the same type of wiring that was used so it goes bad just as fast.
Not as many components are run off the lower (starter) harness.
Mainly the starter, starter solenoid, alternator, oil pressure gauge and oil level gauge (i believe)

Im in the middle of replacing my starter, so its a no brainer for me to replace all these wires I see that are literally crumbling in my hands.

I have updated the main post to reflect that i did find one for the 400e model (starter harness) If anyone knows or wants to list the others, or a less expensive web site please let us know

So, I just crawl under the car, locate the wiring to the starter, starter solenoid, alternator, oil pressure gauge, and oil level gauge, and start replacing wires?

Come to think of it, I remember some discussion on the oil pressure gauge wiring.

Does that mean the 92 400E has escaped the dreaded wiring harness problem?

Nope. They are subject to the problem too.

Its not that bad installing the new harness. I did it on my 93 400E couple of years ago. It took 2 hours taking my time, and some iced tea.
