hello my friends, i have an 92 honda legend and i just want to change by a 92 BMW 540i or a 92 mercedes benz 400E W124, but i don`t know too many things about this mercedes...

please i need info about the engine:

-reliablity

-possible upgrades

-maintenance

- some market places when i find parts.

transmisssion:

-the best possible info about the gearbox

- differentials, if these are LSD...

suspension:

-upgrade options.

etc.

i hope you would help me to learn about this amazing car and buy this car coming soon.

Buy the 540i if you want to go crazy with the aftermarket modifications.

I love the color combo on the car. The two cars you mention are very different - it all depends on your personal taste. That said, the answers to all your questions can be found throughout this forum. Search and discover. Good luck. (And you can't go wrong with the W124.)
