Post engine wireing loom

hi guys, im looking for some advice, mabe one o you can help.

i am building a turboed ce320amg wide body 12 valve.

i have purcased a megasquirt management system from the fablous mr pumpish at turbo bandit. he is a genius

this was called for due to lightening the flywheel wich caused the rear crank sensor not to work and a suspected damaged engine wireing loom.

my questions are;

can i remove the std ecu from behind the battery and the associated wireing loom without affecting the other systems on the car, ive already dumped the parts from the inner wing area.

where does the coolent temp gauge in the dash get its feed from

any help would be greatly appreciated.

the coolant fee and cruise control get there feed from the engine wiring harness. I dont know what kit your talking about but if he is a genius I hope he figured all that in for you good luck unsplicing the old one. If its not alrdy degraded and cracking apart. If its a 90-95 they are prone to engine wiring harness failure due to heat and age.

yes it is a 320 with 12 valves. this is because it is the amg modified 320, based on the 103 engine. they stroked it with the 104 crank. originally done in the ultra rare w201 190 3.2 amg. mods to valve gear and ports gave 245 bhp! and large tourque increse

You might do a search or PM one of the forum members, RBYCC. Ed has done some extensive, professional up-grading with a twin turbo set up on his 300CE. He is using megasquirt electronics in his management system.

Good Luck,

Jayare
