Vaperlocking! :-/

My 1993 300E 3.2 is vapor locking. The baby starts up fine cold, but after driving it to normal temp and turning it off, it will not restart.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? because normally I got to wait 2 hours for the engine to cool off and for it to restart again. :-/

I've never heard of a CIS E car vapor locking... You have 95+lbs and two pump to help get you through anything of that nature!

Are your pumps running when the symptoms occur?

He has a 93 3.2 which is probably HFM....

The CIS-E uses a fuel accumulator at the pumps to maintain pressure when the engine and the pumps shut down.
If the accumulator is faulty and bleeds off too quickly then vapor lock can occur.

This is rare as the pumps are high output and the upstream fuel pressure regulator is a 5.5 bar unit.
