My car has had this embarrassing problem for a while now but now it is really starting to get loud. My car is squeaking on the left rear suspension some how but, behind the left rear tire under the car if I spray some wd-40 down there on theses little ball joint looking things it will be fine for a couple of days any suggestions.

Is it a sound like two hamsters fighting? There you have it. Replace (or have replaced,) the offending suspension link, or links, on both sides of the car. Depending on available funds you may feel like doing all of them, thus restoring a trim, taught, and terrific feel to your car. When one goes, more are sure to follow.
