A few modification questions

I have been considering my 87 300E with clear corners. I have seen pictures of pre-update W124s with clear corners and it just didn't look good. I was wondering if it would be wise to upgrade the entire front end (and how much it would cost) to the post 93 with the avantgarde grill and a front spoiler. I think I can pull a hood off at a junkyard or buy one for probably $200 or less. From what I've researched it's a simple bolt-on installation. I was wondering if any of you have done this and if it would be wise to do it. Thanks, M44

It's all in whether or not it's worth it (both money and time) to you. If you really like the look, go for it.

Do it, even just the clear corners look better.
