I hope you find a better shop. I'd imagine any shop could change those parts.

yeah well the motivation for going back to the same shop is he wont "recharge" me the $100 fee to recheck the car (For the roadworthy certificate) as he has already done it once...

anyways im getting a quote from the shop I usually get my work done.. if it's less (and it should be) ill just get them todo it

That sucks, here if you fail an inspection you have a month to get it fixed and bring it back. No extra fee is involved. They just check the part that failed (takes 2 seconds).
