Does anyone know if a Valve body mod or shift kit is available for 124 300E 4sp Auto Trans, the dam thing takes off in second gear all day long and is a slug to drive like this. I can initiate a forced down shift but it then races away.
I'm considering a 5 speed swap, but a mod for the auto would be a whole lot less expensive and easier.... plus my car has a brand new transmission in it from the previous owner.
I wonder if there is a way to hook up an electrical manual style shifter, sort of like the newer cars have....
