My 1994 E320 Cabriolet with only 13K miles on it won't start. I drove it in the garage a month ago. It cranks fine but absolutely no firing. Is there a fuel relay or some obvious fist step I should do before calling for repair. In all respects the car is as new, no wiring harness problems etc. It has to be something simple doesn't it? I don't smell any gas like it is flooding either.
How was the car running before you parked it? Flawlessly or were there any odd symptoms, even if fleeting? That's a long time to park it, did you disconnect the battery or put it on a charger, or?
Post back up with some more detail and hopefully we'll get you pointed in the right direction.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

call the MB Roadside Service they can help you out on the spot to figure out whats wrong.
with the pesky m104 harness, been sitting around in the garage?Take a look at the wiring harness if it falls apart just from you looking at it therein lies your problem.Start there.Report back with results of what it looks like.Don't bother with the crank position sensor you don't have one on the m104.

you might want to visit the w124 forum also the w124 forum on mbworld.org
It cranks so it can only be no fuel or no spark.Checked all fuses?
Keep your fingers crossed that it is not the EZL
the harness can also look fine on the outside and be powder on the inside.
Have you charged the battery? You could remove the maf and spray some starter fluid into the intake tube and then when it starts reinstall the maf so it does not get affected by the starter fluid.
I have a similar starting problem like the one you described on your E-class with my C220. Mine has problems starting after it has sit for a few days. Cranks fine but takes mutiple tries of cranking shutting off and trying again before you can get it to start. If you turn it off once it has started it works great, until it sits again for a day or more. Checked codes and all systems reported normal. I was wondering if you ever got to the bottom of your problem?
I posted this problem weeks ago so have no idea how it appeared today. Anyway I locked an unlocked the doors and it has started everytime ever since. Think the alarm system shut off the gas when it got a low battery but never heard the alarm.
