The title pretty much explains the problem. I don't know if there is anything to use to seal a cracked engine block. The head I can pull and have replaced or machined. I hope I don't need to replace the engine. I feel the cost of even a used one would be worth more than the car is worth (189,000 miles).
You most likely have a blown head gasket. It is a known problem on the M103 motors. In most all cases, you will find oil in the coolant tank rather than water in the oil. Chances of the block being damaged are slim.
