ML wheels on a 300E
Hello All,
I'm new to the board as well as MB. I have always loved the W124's and have finally taken the plunge and purchased a 1988 300E with excellent records and a pampered life. I have access to 16X8 ML wheels, which I would like to fit to the vehicle. I haven’t measured the offset and hoped I could pose the query here for a quick answer. I assume the minimum is I'll have to purchase longer wheel bolts. Any input is greatly appreciate.

I just checked and it seems that the ML 16X8 wheels have an , get this; Offset of 62! Its insane. They will most certainly NOT fit the max is 35 for a 16X8 and 42 for a 16X7.5 the Offsets get bigger as the rim gets thinner I guess

I'm pretty sure these are from the early ML320. Before learning all this I have been casually reviewing what would fit a W124 without rubbing and had settled on 225/55-16. This is most unfortunate .
