I Scored a Brabus Exhaust Today.

I found it on Craigslist. It came off a W210 E420 imported from Germany, so I was told. Sounds good but it's going to sound even better tomorrow when I have the resonator removed. It's a little quiet for what I wanted. It wasn’t a perfect fit as you can see from the photos. The twin pipes are a little wider than the bumper cut out for the factory exhaust. The hanger mount needed to be moved slightly, other than that it looks pretty sweet to me. All I need is a solid tint job, wheels, tires, suspension and I’m done for a while. I hope...

Nice.
You should widen the bumper cut out.

Definitely have a good body shop mod the bumper so as to bring the tailipipes further up later. Those pipes look the best on a wagon, but if you get it done right it will look even better! How much did you score it for, if I may ask???

It cost me $200.00
Your right about the body shop mod, after looking at the cut out it should be an easy fix for a qualified body shop. I can bring the tips up a bit and it should look great.

Nice... do you have the full pic. of the muffler?

I have one from W202. I am planning to install it on my 95 E320. But I'm not sure it will work or not!

this exhasut is meant for a E500E

i think it is great you found a brabus unit, but i think thatwould look much better on a 500e or e500 since there bumbers are lower and fuller to fill up the gap of the exhaust. if you ever decide to go back to stock, let me know if you want ot get rid of it.

Here’s a bad photo of the exhaust. It looks like a completely different design then what you have. Take it to a good exhaust shop, they can put your car on the rack and tell you if everything lines up. Good Luck...

I think it's that the E500 makes the Brabus look better not the Brabus would look better on the E500. The E500 makes everything look better. I saw one drive past my house this morning. What a beautiful car....baby steps.
