1987 300 sdl wont start in orlando, fl

so i have an 1987 300 sdl that will not start up. its in orlando fl and the temp here has been a little chilly. it sat for a long time until a few weeks ago when i started to drive it. i drove it for a few days and one day it was cold in the morning and it had a hard time starting so i used the block heater for 30 minutes and it started. i used the block heater the next two mornings for an hour before i started it and there was no issues. then on the trip home my oil light came on. i put two quarts in when i got home. the car is in my drive way with about a 1/4 of a tank of fuel and the drive way is on a slant so that the hood sits about 2 to 3 feet up higher than the trunk. i added the oil and shut the hood and went to sleep. the next morning i did the engine block heater and went to start up the car and nothing. wouldnt start. after work i plugged it into the heater for about 3 hours and it wouldnt start. i finally had the chance to take a look at it today and here is what the status is:

i went to this site: Mercedes Diesel Glow Plug Repair and i followed the steps shown. i tested the ohms on the glow plugs and 3 plugs had 1 ohm and one gave no reading (i suppose it means its open aka blown) another gave 66 ohms and plug 6 gave 42 ohms. i could only get to plug 6 and i replaced it (i assume plug 6 is the one furtherest from the front of the car). the temp was warm today yet i used the block heater as well and let the engine get hot enough that you couldnt hold your hand on it for very long without pain. i also took the air filter out and used a hair dryer to blow hot air into the intake and tried to start it up. i double glow plugged it (turn the key once, then twice, then tried to start it) it made the noise of the starter trying to start it but never fired up and turned on. and the glow plug light does not come on. so the starter turns the egine fine but i cannot get ignition.

i thought maybe it wasnt getting fuel so i tried to start it with the injector in the front unscrewed and off so i could see if fuel was spraying. nothing came out of the injector. i loosened the nut connecting the fuel line to injector number 6 and it did leak some fuel while cranking the engine so i assume that injector is working fine. i only tested the two injectors but is there a reason for the front not to show fuel?

i'm lost and have no idea what to do now or what to check. i need a reliable and trustworthy mechanic in the orlando area that knows about 6 cylinder diesels. i also need some help with getting the engine to at least start up one time so i can drive it to the mechanic. does anyone have any idea what i need to do?

thank you in advance
