1988 300E

hey everyone.

im new to MB and i just got a 88 300E. the a/c doesnt work when i press the switches. my question is where do i start looking? i know noob question. but please help me out. i dont even know where the fuses are....

overall though the car is in great shape. body is good not great but good. engine runs strong and it looks clean inside the hood too.

Yeah, what do you mean? Blower doesn't work? No cooling?

yes no blower. i hope its only a fuse (if yes where can i find it?). what do you guys think?

Since you just got that car, it may make sense to change out all of the fuses in the fuse box panel.

There is also a metal strip fuse encased in a small plastic black housing on the drivers side around the fender well.

ok ill do that.

got other issues but i posted another thread on it.

thanks for the advice.

oh yeah i guess something was loose somewhere because the a/c is working fine now. i'll hunt it down just the same.
