Wow! I do a lot of business with the UK (very familiar with taxes ect..), but I have never actually seen a break down the fees to get an imported car on the road. Over $1200+ USD just to get the rights to a vanity (custom) plate!!!!!!!!!! Holy sh!t!!!!!!!!!!! I used to pay less then $40 per year back up North (in tax land USA) and I got the plates included!! $200+ for 6 months of road tax!!! Wow!!! I paid $0. Here is FL, I only pay $53 per year in reg fees plus $100 per 6 months for insurance!! No inspection (MOT), no road tax, no smog check, nothing else. If I wanted a custom plate (maybe next year!) it would only cost about $20 more! Wow, good old GB really does kill you on taxes. Sales tax here is 7%. You are at 17.5%. A real killer.
to add pictures, just attach the file pic to your response - under "Additional Options" and hit manage attachments - if they're too large, use imageshack.us. or something similar to slim it down.

Thanks! Just wish I had a garage......need a good quality cover really. Do not have an owners manual so still working out buttons etc, can you help?
Good luck! AN absolute bargain there, it looks stunning! I hope it gives you many years of pleasurable motoring!
A very rare sight in England indeed....
Excellent write up by the way, got me all excited, felt like I was the one who bought it! By the way whats the website for ebay in Japan? Looking for a particular car to bring to London. Thanks in advance..
That doesn't look like a '91 to me, rather a '94 or '95. Are you sure about the year?

From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy . . .
