Hi Benz World
Finally my car become ok, because recently I suffer form engine hesitation. After seek I fond the problem is air leak in the engine intake manifold, leak in the seals of the injectors ( I show u the seals in attached image ). I fond the problem by spraying fuel to the seal of injectors while engine idle, I note the hesitation increase. After replacing the seals with new the engine become ok.
That gives me a little food for thought....
I have a slight hesiation sometimes and Ive already changed all the valve stem seals due to oil leaking onto the injectors. I have been told by quite a few of the mature Merc mechanics that the 300e almost always had leaks in the intake gaskets and injector seals.
I was told to test it with water. If there is a leak then the water would be taken into the engine and an immediate hesitation would result. Excellent I will check it out!
Thanks s350
I replaced mine at 100 K miles ,they caused a surge under 1000 rpm . The plastic ring groves can chip or crack while replacing these .As long as they seal on the inner and out surfaces its fine .I seems the complete set of seals were 5-$10 U.S.
