How's the battery? Is it frozen by any chance?
If it's frozen, no way it will take a charge. Did you check the voltage at the battery terminals with the car running?
check to see if your battery is the right amprage, i had a problem with the battery/alternator, but it turned out that the battery was the wrong amprage it was 65 when the car needed i believe 75-80 (can anyone check to see if im right about the amprage)
