@coastline
If I'm not mistaken the E220 tanny is the same as E280 (722.4xx).
Mine started to slip in low revs at 1st and 2nd gear (+300whp)
My car has 83k miles from new,Turbo was done this year and tuned and driven hard at 300RWHP for hundreds of hours of testing,with 6000+ rpm manual shifts with no sigh of failure in sight....I wish I had slipping right now so I could justify swapping in the Viper 6 speed...I have been told the SLK 230 Manual can handle 300+ RWHP from a Tuner in Japan,but I just don't see it happening
My 86 300e did 0-60 in 7.3 secs, not bad for 21 years? anyways i had been thinking about a supercharger/turbo for quiet some time and since i have about 500-600 dollars i was just wondering what i can do to give me some extra boost. Obviously i know i cant install and by a supercharger or turbo for that but any input you guys have is great.

The only thing you can look at for that kind of money would be a Catback exhaust from someone like MagnaFlow [High performance CAT, 2.25 in pipe, no resonator, MagnaFlow muffler] and K&N air filters. That would increase the air pumping capabilities of your motor. It will give you some seat of the pants improvement and some HP improvement.
Of course this assumes you already have a car that is well tuned with good plugs, wires, rotor etc. IF NOT, those items would be first.

Actually K&N Air filters dont do anything for my car due to the Oxygen Sensor only at 75 % throttle is the sensor turned off and when the K&N air filter is put in the oxygen sensor re-adjusts. I already have 2 twin magnaflow (2.5 inch) which is said to increase horsepower but decrease torque.
