W124 Wrecks & Accidents Picture Thread
Unfortunately I have noticed a few postings of wrecked W124s in the other picture threads. I feel that this could be another healthy picture thread for the forum members to share thier unfortunate experiences (including pictures) with W124s. Show everyone your appreciation for the quality and engineering that kept you safe!

I guess I'll add although it was not a w124 rather a w202. (I drive a w124 now)
I was driving very fast through a very curvy road and did not anticipate that another driver would be doing the same. Going into a turn I went wide and a split second later I saw headlights and cut the wheel to the right. Avoiding the oncoming car the RWD car went into a back and forth skid eventually ramming into a pile of stones that just happened to be piled up off the side of the road for a mason to construct a wall on the persons property. The pile of stones lifted the car up (severed the oil pan) and sent it airborne (according to witnesses) it then severed a small tree in the air and landed on the roof sliding upside down until hitting another tree which fell on top of the car from impact. Talk about worst case scenario. I woke up in someone’s driveway and flipped out when I saw the car as one of my good friends was in there, and well by the way it looked I immediately thought the worst. However after a long emotional night we both practically walked away after a 6 hour stay at the hospital. I owe my life to that car!!
