That silly "memory seat" thing on our '87 D went nuts and tried to fold me like a tee shirt on one of those infomercial board things so I unplugged the whole mess under the seat and used a jumper top trigger the various motors to permanently set the seat where the Boss would be happy with it.
When I drive it however, I'm not happy so I thought I'd find a way to power the switches and leave out the "brain". When my new Bentley manual arrived I found no wiring diagrams. It's a shame, it's nothing like the Bentley for my VW.
Anyway, can anyone point me in the right direction? Without the brain there seems to be no power to the door switches.
That reminds me, the wheel fully extended itself and refuses to back off so I'll have to kill that too.
I see no purpose for the memory function and thus wouldn't spend a dime on a new "brain" (for the seats, not me).
