W124 300D Vibration damper

petermerle BenzWorld Member Date registered: Nov 2002 Vehicle: 1982 300GD *2 Location: CapeTown Posts: 385	W124 300D Vibration damper My ex merc mechanic tell's me the vibration is caused by the lack of vibration damper on the driveshaft . Now the problem comes in in that the EPC says that no damper is required for the 300D . The mechanic shows me a Merc book where it specifies that a damper is fitted!
