Headlight question

Hey guys, one of my lights the passenger side is throwing off too much power basically the bulb is much brighter than the left driver side, is this normal, is the right one OK? or is the left one not throwing enough power???

Is there a way I can check? What is the normal voltage they are suppose to recieve?

anyone?

Thanks

Bulbs/lamps are rated at a nominal 12 volts.
When you are running you could possible supplying around 13 to 14 volts.

Look more to the dimmer bulb/lamp to determine the problem.
Switch bulb/lamp side to side to determine if it's a failing lamp.

If you get the same result after switching the lamp/bulb, then start looking at your connections and wiring.
Clean all the connections thoroughly and burnish the contacts, do this not just at the lamp connection , but back through any connectors in the harness to the power source.

Post back after you try the above basic steps.

Hey thanks for your reply, but I found the problem, the voltage supplied to both headlights is teh same, the problem was my right headlight was tilted up more thant the left which kidn of gave it a more glare bright spot, when I adjusted to the same level as the left one it now looks the same.

Thanks.
