300E, Best Plugs, Rot and Cap?

I just bought a beautiful, low milage (90K) 1990 300E, 3.0L and need to know which Bosch spark plugs you would recommend? I've heard that Bosch Platinum plugs are NOT recommended because they run too hot? Should I stay with regular Bosch? What is the correct Bosch plug number?
I also checked into the price of the rotor and distrubotor cap, WOW! The best price that I could find was a Sorenson cap at $75 and the rotor at $35. Are these prices for real? If you could pass on some information on the best brands of rotor and cap, it would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Peter

Do Not go after market on the cap/rotor. I had an after market rotor leave me stranded 160 miles from home.

Bosch on cap/rotor, Beru on Wires... NGK or Beru on plugs @ this point as Bosch no longer makes a copper core non resistor plug for the M103.

+1. I had aftermarket cap purchased from Autozone on another car and it failed within a week. Cap/rotor are not expensive parts. Better go with OEM. I put NGK plugs on all my car. All good.
