No plug. You'd have to disconnect the rubber hose (found on the bottom of the tank) that runs to the fuel pumps. Or I guess you could disconnect the fuel pump end.

Drain the tank contents into a container, reconnect the hose, and refill the tank with petrol.

Shouldn't be any permanent damage. You may have to replace fouled plugs though. A small price to pay IMO. Bummer. How'd *that* happen?

This is a potentially disastrous operation so proceed with caution.

Well you'll have to raise the rear of the car enough to get under it. Then you'll remove the 4 10mm nuts that hold the fuel pump assembly plastic cover to the underside of the body. Obtain large drain receptacles and place it/them under fuel pump area.

*IMPORTANT* Extinguish cigarette NOW *IMPORTANT*

Remember, you've got a 17 gallon tank (approximately) so you'll need enough containers to hold all that stuff.

At this point I'd loosen the hose clamp at the pump inlet and CAREFULLY ease the hose PARTIALLY off the pump fitting. This is a large bore hose and fuel will absolutely GUSH from that hose if you just yank it off. You would have a huge mess and potentially explosive situation on your hands if you spill gasoline so proceed carefully.

I'd work from the rear end of the car so that any stray stream of fuel goes forward, away from me (you).

When you feel that you're in control of the hose (squeeze it between your thumb and fingers to reduce the flow rate) disconnect it from the pump and direct the stream into your container. You can shove a rag into the hose to stop the flow if necessary when swapping drain containers.

what he ^^^said
id add that you can use a vice grip or some other type of locking pliers to pinch the fuel pipe BEFORE YOU COMPLETELY disconnect it. that way you control the flow and also you can immediately direct the fuel to an available receptacle.

you will also need to remove the inlet pipe from the fuel distributor and flush all the fuel out of the fuel lines. remove spark plugs and crank engine several times over for about 10 seconds each time to remove any left over fuel.

start with all new fuel. you need a new fuel filter at a minimum, and id say and oil change, and new plugs while youre there.

arent the nozzles for the pumps different between diesel and petrol over there?

WHOA

I advise you to maybe go to a Service Station and get the necessary things done. Please be very careful. I think the Engine Oil might be fine but you certainly would have to change the Fuel Filter so I do not advice you to just start the car and go as there might be some Engine Damage.

The Engine would also choke a lot before starting up and there might be some heavy vibration.

Good luck and please try to avoid such things in the future.
