87 300 TD audio question

hi this is my first post on this forum. I used to be part of crownvic.net but i recently totalled my crown vic and was able to find a 300 TD for cheap and picked that up. (more of my vic pics are here: 2000 Ford Crown Victoria pictures, photos, videos, and sounds | SuperMotors.net ) My crown vic had a very nice stereo system that i installed and it was very easy to install since it was a ford and there isnt much to a ford. i've been looking at my 300 td and wondering what to do. I have the focal 165 component speakers from the crown vic and the three 12" JL subs and both the amps still as well as my alpine head unit. I'd like to install them into the 300 td but i'm not sure what size will fit as well as where i need to start. i was getting fuel last night and someone with a 300 sdl was talking to me and he said that i would need to do something with my fader switch and i didnt understand. any advice or suggestions?
